These books accurately depict historical events: an Underground Railroad escape (Allen Jay) and a woman, Jackie Mitchell, striking out Babe Ruth (La nina). However, both texts use some obscure and sometimes inaccurate Spanish language that can be difficult to decipher. Color drawings, some stiff and static, illustrate the texts.
